Belly the Dog needs a home
Belly is a sweet 11-year old whose mom fell ill suddenly and is no longer able to care for her. She was rescued from an abusive situation years ago by her human mama and is still a little shy about new people and places. However, she warms up quickly and loves to crawl into your lap for a cuddle. She is great with other dogs and cats. Kids make her nervous-- she prefers quiet!
She plays like a puppy and has a favorite "ball" (rubber bowling pin) that she will chase over and over. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm prevention. A perfect housemate (house trained and not destructive); she also loves being outside and will sit in the sun with her "ball" next to her for hours. She does need a fenced in yard, as she will run if let off leash.
